mallory had a pluggie. she loves pluggie.
she would bring the nasty thing out all the time and couldn't sleep without it.
well. couple weeks before her birthday i took beloved pluggie away, just for naps.
she did great.
i kept on telling her, on your birthday you will not be able to have plug
because big girl 3 year olds don't have plugs.
she totally believed me!
so, on her birthday i took it away.
i know, what a nice birthday present!
she got up a couple of times the next 2 nights
but is doing great.
she doesn't even ask about it.
DONE.
one morning, before we got rid of it, she came out with her plug.
i asked her "what is that?"
she did this...
isn't she so cute.
yay! for no more plug!
good job mal!

:) Jon has been asking me when we are going to get rid of the binki. I said "not any time soon". It is the insta-cure-all for every kind of sadness and I'm not really interested in dealing with the consequences of taking it at the moment. :)
