game boy!

anytime i can't find kale, he is in the spare room

getting a game out!

he LOVES hungry hippos, connect 4 and elefun.

kale won!!

kale won this 2L of pop today! 

at walmart there is a little fish tank full of water

and i shot glass at the bottom.

to win the pop you have to get a quarter in the shot glass by throwing

or letting it sink.

well, kale had a penny and he got it right in the shot glass.

the walmart people said it had to be a quarter to get the pop.

so i give him a quarter and he got it right in.

  it was awesome and he was so proud!

he ran to brett when he got home from work and told him

"i won, i won!!!"

heatbeat 5000

we tried to do the heartbeat 500 5k today. 

we parked kind of far away (we hadn't ever been to this part of town)

and the kids were worn out about 1 mile in!

we turned around and went back to the big bridge and ate a snack.

brett and i are going to do it next year with no kids!

cousins!!!

we met greg, wendy and jennie for lunch in maple grove.

jennie decided she should come home with us and try out our new little pool.

we swam in the pool, filled up about 100 water balloons and ate treats.

good day for cousins!

already gone.

our birds are already gone!

they grow and mature so quickly!!

it was so fun to see them from eggs to grown birds.

we got to watch them learn how to fly too.

they jumped around and one even hit our fence!

by birds!  be safe and come and visit!

we had a quite day at home with a really good dinner.

we got him a key chain that says "super dad" and some yummy new spices to cook with!

i made him this banner too.

thanks for being a great dad to our kids brett!

you always get down on the floor and play with them.

you always make them laugh and let them know they are special!

breakfast on the farm

we got to go to breakfast on the farm today!

it was sooooo fun.

it was at dairy farm around waverly, MN.

there were lots of cows and lots of fun stuff to do.

they had a pancake breakfast, balloons, braclets, a petting zoo,

tractor rides and tractors to climb on.

there was even a baby calf born just that morning!

it was a great day!

olivia also lived one of her dreams by getting to ride in a school bus!!

nap time

kale is transititioning to NOT having a nap.

he does great most days and sleeps very well at night

from about 7PM to 8AM!!

but whenever we get in the car for a few minutes in the afternoon

he is out!
