marble maddness

me and kale had some quality time today and got out the marble maze.

we have lost the instructions that came with it but today i made up an awesome track.

even kale was impressed!

granola eater

i have started making my own laundry detergent!  it is fabulous!  

i love the smell of it and it does a great job cleaning our clothes.

i also made some dryer balls.  they sound just like tennis balls in the dryer and really cut

down on drying time.

i'm feeling very granola eater!

smart

this is how sloan gets off the couch.  he goes off the edge head first.  

then puts he feet down by his head and then stands up.  

i was very nervous about this way of doing things but he 

does it like a pro.

sloan also thinks the more pluggies the better.  

he likes to have 3 plugs.  one for his mouth, one for each hand!

no shoes

i put some shoes on sloan today.  

this is the only picture i could get because he doesn't like them so much.

he hasn't really ever worn shoes!

the aquarium

we took a quick trip to the aquarium today.

they had lots more animals!  it was much better.

sloan even got to see the string rays. 

yes, we are all wearing blue.  i don't know how that happened! 

my boy

that is a homemade roll on kale forehead.

i made them yesterday and he came in the living room

this morning and said, "mom, i just love rolls!"

he is definitely my son!

sandberg word art

my mom and dad got an email with an ad for these canvases.

you put in your own words and the company makes them into these canvases.

there are several different shapes and colors.

all the sandberg kids, in laws and grandkids submitted words to nana and papa.

they made the final word select and then canvases were born!

i just love mine.  seeing it brings such fun memories to mind!

fire at the gales

we went to gales tonight for dinner and smores!  

it's always fun with the gales!

eric made an awesome fire for the smores and we had yummy smores.

for some reason i only took a picture of the fire?

scales and tails

i got a pass to scales and tails in west valley.

we met brett over there after work.  

they had so many snakes, spiders, alligators, crocodiles and turtles.

we got to touch almost all of them.

they even got out a tarantula and a scorpion.

we did NOT hold those.

we had a great morning and a good time at church.  

i had to include all of these to document how hard it is to get a good picture of this bunch!

they are all so cute though. 

so it doesn't matter! 

easter bunny poop again!!

kale tried to stay up all night to catch the easter bunny.

silly boy.  he got easter bunny poop in his bed again!

that easter bunny is crazy!

snuggler

sloan was so tired today before his nap he fell asleep in my arms.

this little guy doesn't snuggle too much so this was a treat for me.

i can't believe he is almost a year old!

mal and blog books

i have made 2 years of our blogs into books.

mallory loves them.  

she can often be found on the couch looking at them.

it's so sweet and really motivates me to keep the blog up 

and get some more blog books done!

outside

it has been beautiful here lately!

we have been going outside as much as possible. 

we even flew a kite, played in the sand and blew bubbles!

yay for spring!

easter eggs

the gales invited us over to dye easter eggs!

it was so fun and so nice because they had everything there and ready!

i didn't have to do any work!  

the kids had crayons to draw with and stickers.

it was great.

we did learn that we need to have an equal number of eggs for everyone 

to not have problems.  lol.

tent day

we made a tent downstairs today.  

stayed in our pj's and watched movies!

the kids said it was the best day ever!

nana jam

we have greek yogurt for breakfast a lot around here.

today we run out of the flavored kind so i just added some 

nana jam to the plain stuff and the kids ate it up!

tech baby

this little one loves to have a turn with the kindle  and iphones too. 

he loves to touch the screen and make things move and change with his fingers.

he's getting so big and smart.

gardner village

we went to gardner village today.  

we walked around and fed the ducks peanut butter crackers.

we got a treat at the bakery too.

sloan

he just woke up.

he is so sweet.  we all love him so much!

all 3 big kids want to hold him and love on him.

he has been so fun to have in our family.

i just love that face!

spring breakin

first official day of spring break!  

i got each of the kids a big project to do this week.

mal got a real rainbow loom. 

 liv is loving embroidery and sewing these days so she got a little kit with projects.

kale got a "dig out the dino skeleton" kit.

they were all surprised and have been working on there stuff all morning!
