Ears pierced!!!

well, we finally got mallorys ears pierced!!  i'm not really sure why we waited this long after her birthday!   she was nervous but so excited.  we got to go alone.  just me and her.  she picked out her earrings and they got it done pretty quick.  they had a cute bear for her to hold on to.  i told her it would hurt, kind of like a pinch.  she said it hurt worse then just a pinch but it wasn't too bad.  she is one cute girl!!!

Dad made breakfast!!

i asked brett to go make breakfast this morning while got ready quick.  kale came up and told me breakfast was ready....and this is what i found in the kitchen.  complete silence because they were stuffing their mouths full of this goodness!!  i had never had kneaders french toast and it was AMAZING!  i really like it when brett "makes" breakfast.  

sloans favorite part was the whipped cream.  he is definitely part of our family!!

We built a cornice!!

i found this cornice on pinterest and LOVED it.  i got the wood and made it a couple of days ago and then brett helped me put it up!  the dining room/kitchen looks awesome!!  

Hair cut??

brett cuts the boys hair all the time.  there have been several "interesting" hair styles brett has tried on kale and today this one took the cake!!  kale could not be held still to even take a picture!  it was priceless.  brett did shave the rest of kales head and kale looks so handsome!

Fitbit Charge for me!!

i got a new toy today!!  i can't wait to start tracking some steps!

Snuggle bugs!

i found some snuggle bugs in my bed this morning!  it is so fun when the boys or the girls come and snuggle in the morning.  i remember morning talks with my mom even until i was going to byu!

Got some stuff in the walls.

we move so much that i usually don't put too much effort into decorating.  but, this house is different for me.  i don't know why but i have started and i am really enjoying decorating this house.  i am always super productive when brett is out of town and i got a whole bunch done this trip!  

i put all our magnetic chore charts up in the kitchen, painted the big mirror i didn't like and got a cute gallery wall in our master bedroom.  brett was quite surprised when he got home!

Mini Kale

sloan LOVES kale and wants to do everything kale is doing.  we took kale to school today and sloan got right in line with him.  kale was showing off his baby brother and the little girls ohhed and awwed.  i love these brothers!

Mals new game...

i don't know where mallory show this weird game but it was pretty fun watching kale and mallory play this.  mal got 5 cans of random food, oranges, olives, black beans, carrots and creamed corn.  kale got a big bite of creamed corn the first time and ended up at the garbage can.  mallory was the same with a big spoon full of black beans.  it sure was a fun game to watch!!

FaceTiming dad

daddys been gone at a work conference and we have been face timing with him.  its our favorite time of day to see dad.  we miss him quite a bit when he's gone.

Rocketeers spring concert

rocketeers spring concert!!  olivia has been in rocketeers all year practicing every tuesday.  she has had such a great time and has learned so much and so many songs!!  olivia sang her heart out!  mallory can't wait to join next year!  grandpa earl was able to come to this concert too!  it made olivia feel so special!

Eight is great

mallory got so many fun presents for her baptism.  this cute necklace is from pete and gail.  i took a cute picture of her to send to them and i couldn't believe how cute and grown up she is.  i have looked at this photo several times and i just can't get enough of her adorable face.  i sure do love this girl!

sloan has had his tubes for 6 months!  i can't believe it.  the doctor said it all looks great and to not go swiming or even near a lake without pulling his ears.  so, no lakes for us this summer!

i can't believe how grown up sloan looks.  he's not my baby anymore!
