i see her!

olivia goes to school ALL DAY now,

we miss her when she is gone, especially mal and kale.

here is what happens when she walks home from school.

i didn't realize when i had children how precious their love for eachother would be.

it makes me smile ear to ear and tear up every now and then to think

of these kids and how much they love eachother.

it makes me think of my sisters and brothers,

how much i love and adore each of them!

WOW!  it's so cool that my kids feel THAT for eachother!!

happy birthday sweet livy lou!!

olivia has disobeyed us and decided to turn 6 instead of staying 5!

she had a great day.  got to go to school and go on a fieldtrip

to an apple orchard!  isn't that great!

she had a ton of fun and was a happy girl.

mal, kale and i decorated before dinner and

 blindfolded liv to come up and see it.

she requested tator tot casserole for her birthday dinner.

then we opened presents.  she got some great stuff!

we then decided to take her to a secret location for birthday dessert.

we blindfolded her again and took her to coldstone for ice cream.

it was a great birthday.

nana gave olivia a set of boxes with little presents inside several of them.

it was hilarious to watch her open it!!

best present ever! 

kale thought the pillow case nana made olivia was a new blanket.

right before we went into coldstone.

i can't believe it has been 6 years since this girl came to our family!!

olivia is a great sister and always thinks of new fun games to play.

liv loves to draw, color, cut and glue anything she can find.

she is getting to be quite the little singer and has started piano lessons with me!

she has many friends and always wants to play with someone.

olivia is doing great in school and comes home ready to do her homework.

we are so grateful to have her in our family!!

we love you liv!!

that i do try to do her hair as much as she will let me!!

homecoming parade

the homecoming parade comes right down our street.

we went out early and got good seats and waited....

they threw LOTS of candy

and the kids had tons of fun!

when he is asked to smile he does this face,

he is a fighter guy!  too funny!

ever since brett was little, he has LOVED the tampa bay bucs.

there wasn't an NFL team in utah so he chose the bucs to cheer for because he liked their jerseys!

well, today one of brett's lifelong dreams came true!

the bucs came to minni to play the vikings and he got to go!

he even got his hat signed by josh freeman!!

brett said it was simply AWESOME!!

momma time

with mal and liv in school on the same days,

kale and i have had some time to be together.

we choose to make some cookies together for the

girls when they got home from school.

kale is the sweetest boy EVER.

he is a great help and always so nice. 

i think this will happen quite often!!

mallory's first day of school

mallory is just a little excited to get back to school!!

she is going to the same preschool, with the same teachers!

we are so lucky because she LOVES it there!

melting my heart.

olivia went to school again today.  her second day!  she was so excited and couldn't wait to get there.  she has the option of getting breakfast at school and wanted to today, so i said she could.  we got to the school and she put her stuff in her locker.  then it was time for her to go to breakfast so she wouldn't be late for class.  liv gave us all a hug and went skipping and singing to herself around the courner to get breakfast.  it brought tears to my eyes.  this sweet girl is growing up and she is so smart and beautiful and creative.  she is comfortable at this school and is happy.  what more could a mother ask for??  it made my heart happy!

first day of kindergarten!!

Olivia got to go to kindergarten today!

to say she is excited is the understatement of the year!

liv was super excited to wear the dress that nana gave her.

she looked just beautiful and so old!

her school is right across the street so we get to walk everyday.

olivia ia disappointed because she really wants to ride the bus to school.

she had a great first day and met her new "BFF"

but doesn't remember her name!

when we got outside of the school today. 

i am so glad she loves school!
