my boy

started started riding a two wheeled bike with training wheels!

he was so proud of himself!

all of us sandberg kids rode that bike as kids.

canadian bowling

one last canadian special treat!

we went canadian 5 pin bowling.

there is only 5 pins, obviously and a smaller ball.

the kids were all so excited and had a great time!

they even had pretty good scores.

 

 

abby loves to feel hair with her hands.

kale figured that out pretty quick and every chance he gets he will go over

to her and say hair, hair and let her feel his hair.

it was so sweet!

gardening with papa

papa took each of the grandkids out to pick beans today.

he wanted them to have a memory of picking beans with him!

he taught them how to tell when the beans are ready to be picked

and how to pick them.

i think it will be a fond memory for all of them.

we even had the beans for dinner and the kids ate them right up!

 

go fish

papa found some go fish cards today and played some

intense games with the kids!

they only fought every game,

but had fun in between the fights!

papa is a good man for being the referee!

a little project

the kids needed something to do today while

amy took barry to great falls to catch his flight.

so, i found some cute my little ponies to color and put together on the web.

they had fun and made each one unique!

movie time

after playing outside all morning,

the kids watched hercules together downstairs.

the streets had never seen hercules before and they loved it!

they even SHARED blankets and everything!

s'mores

we had s'mores tonight!

papa made a great fire for us and the kids roasted marshmallows,

the moms got the chocolate and crackers ready.

it was a great night with no bugs and cool weather.

doing hair

mallory loves to do hair.

she brushes your hair and puts in ponies.

ella let her do hair today!

we went down to let the kids play for awhile then

nana and papa came later with some tim bits!

the kids were in heaven!

i wish we had tim hortons in mn!
