happy new year

 

I found this recipe in the scout magazine.

brett decided to try it out for our new year's get together.

it was SO yummy!

i found it

my mother has a Christmas candle collection. 

when I was a child I remember helping her gently get them out of the

Christmas boxes.  these candles made the whole house smell of Christmas.

whenever I smell that particular smell, it reminds me of Christmas.

well, I was at goodwill today and I found this!

this funny looking green sled is exactly like the one my mom has

and the smell is Christmas!

we decorated the tree today.

brett did a great job on the lights and the kids put up the ornaments in about 2 mins! 

it's so fun the kids are old enough to hang the decorations.

it was kale's turn to put the star on and he was very excited.

I bought a groupon for our tree this year. 

it was awesome.

we went to a really cute tree farm, in the middle of no where,

and got a great tree.

the kids had a blast at the little gift shop, the playground and

warming up by the fire!

 the homecoming parade was today.

we got our awesome seats and tons of candy!

we give liv the choice to have a party or go to the mall of America.

Olivia picked the mall of America!

we went to ikea first for dinner and then to ride the rides!

we got all 3 kids the unlimited wristband and they went crazy,

they had the best time and I think kale and Mallory will want to go to the mall of America

for their birthdays too!
