bunnies, sweet swing sets and trouble makers.

we have some friends.
aren't they so little.
they are tiny!  they don't really even know how to hop very good yet.
the girls REALLY want to keep one.
don't tell them, but so do i!

here is the momma.  we don't know where they live.
we have narrowed it down to 2 places.
1. under our "barn" as the girls call it
2. under the neighbors deck.
we don't really care as long as they keep coming around!

SWEET SWING SETS!
isn't this set AWESOME!

we love it!  it is so sweet to see the girls playing together on it.
they love the swings and make up all sorts of games.
reminds me of sally and i when we were young!

TROUBLE MAKERS!
kale and his partner in crime, larz, pulling all the movies out of the shelf .

nana and papa!

nana and papa got to come a visit us for 4 whole days!
it was heavenly.
we were the second last stop on the "little" trip.
first they drove to provo to see jeremy graduate BYU and bless sweet robert.
then flew to keller, texas to visit the streets and bless screamer abby.
next, they came here.

the awesome welcome sign we made them.
olivia colored the w,e,l,c,o all by herself.
she stopped and asked me to help her because her arm hurt!

lots of reading was done.

we put papa to work from the moment he got here.
he made this AWESOME picnic table for the kiddos.
the girls want to eat on it everyday.

even kale wants to eat at it.

do you think these kids were a little excited to see them?
dad also fixed a door that didn't close and hung a new light in our 70's bathroom.
thanks dad!

mom was very busy helping my sew the quilt i made for her.

it has all the kids and grandkids handprints on it.
it was so interesting and fun to make.
mom was a big help, i douldn't have done it without her.
i had to tell her about it, i wanted it to be a surprise,
because i didn't really know what i was doing.
she was a slave driver though and i got it done! in 2 days!
oh, i forgot the most important thing we did.
the girls went on nana/papa grand-daughter dates.
we went to the mall and played at the play place and rode on lots of rides.
oh and the most important part, got treats!
nana and papa and the girls also got some pictures in one of those photos booths.
it was REALLY funny taking to get all their faces in the picture!

we had some much fun nana and papa.
PLEASE come back soon.
we love you!

they flew back to utah then had to drive home!
what a great trip!

so it is going to be the 23.

it was SO nice outside we got the sprinkler out.  kale wasn't so sure about it at first.  but once he figured it out, he didn't want to stop.

kale starting to rehearse for his action movies.

silly mallory.  this is her "normal" smile!

both olivia and mallory filled up the little pink chalk bucket about, hum, 1000 times to water the flowers!

dad!

sweet, huh?
i just love this.
they love their daddy.

this is the scene when brett is mowing the law.
olivia follows him around like a puppy.
i couldn't help but get some pictures because i think it is so sweet.
liv would pick up any sticks or move toys.  it was adorable.
they didn't even talk to eachother because the mower is so loud.
olivia just wanted to be with her daddy.

i'm showing this one because these toes are too cute not to show!
spring here we come!

~walk for the cure~

wow.
what an amazing morning.
i don't know if i can really tell you how i felt this morning.
we decided to only do the family 1 mile walk with the kiddos.
the RACE, where people actually run, started at 9 AM.
the family run started at 9:45 AM.
i didn't really understand why we, families, had to wait so long to start.
umm, yeah, because there was OVER 41,000 people there.
we waited the whole 45 minutes and this is what the street looked like
THE WHOLE 45 MINUTES!
 can you believe that.
UNBELIEVABLE!

we did the race this year because
my mom
just found out she has breast cancer.
i needed to do this to show my mom how much i love her and support her.
i have done "the race" before in utah.  i did it just to do a 5k.
i didn't even think about the reason all the people where there.

this time it was a little different.
when we got there, i couldn't believe the number of people there.
i felt a fabulous connection with all of them.
their moms, their sisters, their daughters, their wifes had this cancer.
i felt as through everyone was there for MY MOM.
i was there to race for their mom too.
i was overcome with emotion.
it was amazing.
i think we will do it every year from now.
i AM going to run the 5k next year!

singing in the rain!

it rained the other day and the kids were DYING to go play,
so i let them.
i remember when i was a kid, my mom would let us play in the rain all the time.
I LOVED IT!  thanks mom.
i think my kids love it as much as i did.

this boy can NOT get enough of outside!  he would be out there all day if i let him.
he cries when he has to come in and whenever anyone opens the door.
HE IS ADORABLE!
our mallory.  she is getting so big and much more outspoken.  i can't believe she is 3!

kale has to have a stick in his hand, if not both when he is outside.
pure boy!

mallory ALWAYS puts her shoes on the wrong feet.  so funny and so mallory!

silly olivia.

after the rain, they came inside to have a hot bath.
they were worn out.  they all slept good that night!
