nana and papa!

nana and papa got to come a visit us for 4 whole days!
it was heavenly.
we were the second last stop on the "little" trip.
first they drove to provo to see jeremy graduate BYU and bless sweet robert.
then flew to keller, texas to visit the streets and bless screamer abby.
next, they came here.

the awesome welcome sign we made them.
olivia colored the w,e,l,c,o all by herself.
she stopped and asked me to help her because her arm hurt!

lots of reading was done.

we put papa to work from the moment he got here.
he made this AWESOME picnic table for the kiddos.
the girls want to eat on it everyday.

even kale wants to eat at it.

do you think these kids were a little excited to see them?
dad also fixed a door that didn't close and hung a new light in our 70's bathroom.
thanks dad!

mom was very busy helping my sew the quilt i made for her.

it has all the kids and grandkids handprints on it.
it was so interesting and fun to make.
mom was a big help, i douldn't have done it without her.
i had to tell her about it, i wanted it to be a surprise,
because i didn't really know what i was doing.
she was a slave driver though and i got it done! in 2 days!
oh, i forgot the most important thing we did.
the girls went on nana/papa grand-daughter dates.
we went to the mall and played at the play place and rode on lots of rides.
oh and the most important part, got treats!
nana and papa and the girls also got some pictures in one of those photos booths.
it was REALLY funny taking to get all their faces in the picture!

we had some much fun nana and papa.
PLEASE come back soon.
we love you!

they flew back to utah then had to drive home!
what a great trip!

Looks like so much fun to have grandparents for a visit. Table and Quilt are so neat! Hope you get to see your parents soon!
