man capris

kale went up to get dressed and couldn't find any pants.

i told him to get some out of the laundry basket in my room.

he came downstairs in these.

the funny part is sloan's 18 to 24 pants totally fit kale!  

he wore them all day and said they were really comfy!

road trip

we went up to logan today to a baby blessing.

it was so fun!  we saw lots of brett's family and got to visit!

i guess sitting in the car and sitting in church makes for tired kids!

the school park: a dream come true

i need to document our trip to the school park.

the kids have been wanting to go for some time now and their dreams came true today!

it was fun.  we played and ran around.  all the amazing things you do at the park!

its snowing petals

dad made it snow the beautiful petals from our tree.

it was kind of magical!

HAPPY SPRING BREAK!!!

happy spring break!  

it has begun!  the kids are out of school for a whole week.

i got pizza and doughnuts to celebrate.

we may all be just a little excited to stay up late, sleep in and party!

baby clothes

i made some baby outfits for zach (brett's cousin jessie's baby).

i just love them.  i can't wait to give them to her! yay!

i also made camo pants to go with the deer onesie and 

the bow tie shirt has 3 other bow ties that are interchangeable.

i think i could applique baby onesies all day long!

fun with dad

sloan just loves his daddy!

he has a twinkle in his eye when he looks at brett.

it's just adorable.

sloan loves to look out the front door. 

he will stand there forever just looking out there and talking.

he waits for sisters to get home from school.

a walk and swinging

we have been going on walks around the neighborhood lately.

stopping at the park to play and swing.  

sloan doesn't love swinging yet.

conference

conference weekend!  yay!

we watched together as a family this morning.

we didn't get to pay attention very much with these 4 little people but 

we are starting a good tradition!

brett's family came up for dinner tonight too! 

it's always fun when they come to visit!

crazy barf

if we had an award for the "craziest barf" kale would get it for last night.

let's just say i cleaned up for about 30 mins with one of kale's shirts tied around my face.

it was impressive!  poor guy.

at least it was only a one time barf.

towel for mady

report about turtles

for second grade olivia has been working on an animal report.

each child had to pick an animal and liv choose sea turtles.

she worked really hard on her report and poster.

we even went to the aquarium and liv bought a stuffed turtle with her own money.

families were invited to come and see the kids projects.

liv did such a great job and we are so proud of her!

PIZZA

that is some pizza!

we went to "the pie" tonight for dinner. 

it was such a great atmosphere!  there is writing all over the walls and 

seating upstairs that the kids loved.

we want to go back with sharpies so we can sign our names on the walls!

womens meeting WITH olivia

tonight was the first women's meeting of the church!

this year 8 and up were allowed to go so liv came with me!

it was a special night to be together.  it's crazy to think next year mal will be with us!!

we went out to eat after at zuppas.  

it was so yummy!!

what a fun time with my sweet girl!

liv is growing up.  she is becoming such a wonderful, creative, fun, crazy girl!

i'm so glad she is in our family!

i'm on a mission to find the best granola bar recipe.  

this is ree's (the pioneer woman) recipe.

it was good.  but i think i used to dark of molasses.

daddy time

daddy time is precious.

the kids love to play with brett on the tramp.

someone ALWAYS ends up crying, but would

friday night sleepover

the kids love to sleep in the same room.

we usually let them on friday nights.

tonight they got a special sleepover and brett made them a tent to sleep in!

they loved it and said it was the best sleepover ever!
