birthday girl!

Olivia joy is 7 years old!

she got some packages today from grandpa earl and nana and papa!

it's so fun to get mail and especially packages.

then she picked to go to buffalo wild wings for dinner.

she is her daddy's daughter!

kale was so tired he fell asleep in the middle of the living room.

going to school is hard work.

gophers game!

we went to a gophers game to celebrate.

it was SO fun!

the kids loved it and so did the adults.

the marching band was amazing.  there was a drum major that was awesome.

he danced around everywhere.  he would spin the baton and hit it off his foot.

the weather was perfect, the company was great and we WON!

kale's first day of preschool!

yay!  kales first day!

he finally gets to go to school!

he has been waiting for so long to go and it's finally his turn.

kale is showing me his boots that he loves!  the light up too! 

of course, he went right in and didn't care a bit when I left.

he is going to love little lambs just like Olivia and Mallory do!

adam is baptized!

 

 

our really good friends little boy, adam, got baptized today.

it was so fun to go and be part of the celebration! 

I made this banner for the fabulous day. 

kale has been talking about "davin"  his friend and this is him!  david!

we went to a lake house with the Jackson this summer and kale still calls david his best friend.

first day of school!

the girls started school today!!  they were so excited.

mal started kindergarten.  her teacher is ms. berwyn.

liv is in first grade with ms. anderson as her teacher.

kale was not very excited about the girls leaving.

he likes having his sissy's around!

for kindergarten, they don't let the parents go down to the classroom.

boo, but easier for the kids? 

so here is mal walking down to her classroom.

mallory was a little nervous before they went to the classroom.

she did introduced herself to a new friend!

so cute, mallory asked if she wanted to be her friend and the little girl said yes!

i love how kids are!  so nice.

hope they had a good day, i'm sure they did.

made some chocolate chip cookies for the girls when they got home from school.
of course, they really only wanted the dough!

 

1st annual back to school dinner

we surprised the kids with a fun dinner of waffles,

 ice cream, strawberries and ice cream!

yummy!

i also made them crowns and some back to school decorations.

the crowns were a hit!

there were things said like,

you guys are the best parents ever

so that was pretty great!

it's all about the memories.

we had father's blessings after dinner.

it was a great way to start a new school year!

 

 

then we set out the girls clothes for the next day so they would be all ready.

mallory got a special dress for the first day of kindergarten from nana.

she was so excited to wear it!

liv also picked out a very sweet outfit that made her look too old and too beautiful!

i can't believe school starts tomorrow!

we are all so excited!
