witches of gardner village

we went to go to gardner village to see the witches.

it was such a beautiful night and the kids were great!

there were several witches roaming around, ducks to feed and we stopped and let the

kids get a treat at the candy store. 

I'm pretty sure this will be a fall tradition!

 

 

winter picnic

we are all sad that nana, papa and greg left.

we are lonely!

i was trying to be fun and take the kids up to the mountains for a little picnic.

yeah, i don't know the salt lake mountains well AT ALL!

there was no where to eat.

we ended up eating pulled over in a turn around.

it was so cold we all ate super quick and got back into the car to warm up!

it's a good memory!

the papa game

papa is very playful with his grandkids and is always wrestling and tickling someone!

today he was bouncing the mal and kale on his knees!

papa would start little and end up bouncing so big kale and mal would both fall off.

they were all laughing so hard!

it was awesome!

 

 

the nana touch

nana has the touch.

she just knows how to hold babies to get them to calm down and

go to sleep!

sloan is no different then the rest of her grandbabies!

a nana hug

nana made this beautiful quilt for Olivia for her birthday! 

now when Olivia misses nana or papa she can go snuggle in her blanket and

it will be like nana and papa are giving her a big hug.

liv's favorite color is orange so she LOVES it!

we have some visitors

nana and papa and greg came all the way to Utah for Olivia's baptism.

we have been having so much fun and we are even going to have Canadian thanksgiving on Monday!

Olivia is getting baptized on Saturday!

we went to the river Jordan temple and did a photo shoot with her

beautiful gown on.

it was so surreal to see her so beautiful and grown up.

i think we got some really awesome shots!

at liv's birthday party we had fake tattoos.

she put one on her mid arm and i didn't think anything of it.

well, we couldn't get that thing off her arm for these pictures.

that's the reason she has her arms crossed in some of the photos!

lesson learned.

brett cut kale's hair really good today.

kale likes to have it spikey!

5 months old today

5 months old today! 

he just keeps getting cuter!  it's hard to believe.

all of my kids, maybe not olivia, have worn this jacket.

i had to document sloan in it.

i think i will try to find the 3 other kids pictures in it and i can compare.

they are all so cute!

 

getting so big

he just keeps growing.

even though i have asked him to stop, he isn't listening!

daddy daughter crafts

the girls sucked brett into helping them with a fun little craft we found at the dollar store.

i think us girls will make a crafter out of brett some day!

we have snow

the mountains have snow on them.

I'm sure we will have snow in the valleys soon!

my boys

I had to take all of these to get one good one of the boys.

I love them all though.

kale was so happy sloan was a boy.

when he came to meet sloan at the hospital he came running in and yelled,

"is it really a brother, mom?"

I told him yes.

he said, "i told you so mom."

 

i hope they are always best friends!

watching

sloan loves his siblings.

the 3 big kids were out on the trampoline and sloan sat in his

chair and watched for quite a while. 



looking at the stars

my littles wanted to look at the stars tonight. 

how could their star loving mom say no.

they stayed up late and snuggled under a blanket together.

these are the moments I want to remember!
