pass of all passes

we went to the lehi trafalga fun center today and got our pass of all passes!
yay!  the first ride we went on was the bumper boats.
uh, maybe not a good idea!
the girls got soaked and me and kale were definitely damp!
but, we still went on some rides and played mini golf.
the kids want to go everyday.

letters from mom

at the sandberg reunion this summer my mom gave me her old
dye cut letter from when she taught school.
I organized them today.
it was so fun and I think it's neat I have something my mom used when she taught!

maybe not

we tried some rice cereal tonight.
I would say he doesn't like it much.

can't get enough

this face.
like I said.  I can't get enough.
he is so sweet and such a good baby, well, except at night.
he likes to see his momma a lot during the night. lol.

brothers

i'm sure I've said this before but to say kale loves sloan is the under statement of the year.
no one can make sloan laugh like kale can.
they are going to be the best of friends in just a couple of years.

trip to provo

we went down to provo today.
first we met up with grandpa earl to have lunch and happened to eating right next to Mrs Cavanaugh's Candy store.  we stopped by for a treat!  yum!
then we went and played up in provo canyon.
I just love it up there. it's so fun and I have such great memories.
the kids love it too.
I dared each of them to go into the water as far as they could.
liv almost went all the way under, not surprising!
as we were playing at a park with some friends a crazy storm was rolling in over the mountains.
we thought it would pass quickly and went under a picnic shelter.
well, it was the craziest storm and we ended up running to our cars,
helping the babies to get there while pretty much getting sand blasted in the face.
we made our way to cousin heathers house to have dinner.
it only took about 1 hour to get there since the streets were like
rivers with the crazy amount of rain and some streets were washed away and closed.
of course I didn't get any photos of the yummy dinner and fabulous company we had at heathers.
it was a great end to a crazy day!

stuff

I have recently learned to cook asparagus really well and I love it!
and crazy enough, so do the kids.  we ate all of this before brett even got any!

my baby.
he is so sweet and I just love him.
when we are having a rough time, I think to myself,
i'm never going to have a (insert sloans age here) again.
it helps to help me have the right perspective.

all about olivia

Olivia had to bring 3 things that described her to school.
she decided to bring markers because she loves to draw and color.
second, a copy of the book of Mormon to show she is a member of the church and her love of reading.
lastly, a picture of our family because she "loves us the most."

I loved seeing what Olivia picked out to tell all about her.
it is fun to have a glimpse into their little minds!

a little sewing?

even though we just moved and my sewing/craft room is the last thing to get unpacked and organized, when I saw this jacket I had to pattern test it for seekatesew.
it was too sweet to pass up!
I had to look through many boxes to find my thread and my ironing board is a shelf and a towel.
it's done and it turned out adorable.
the best thing about it though is Mallory loves it and can't wait to wear it
when it isn't 95 degrees outside.
