mal is a preschool grad!

mallory gail graduated from preschool tonight!!

i can't believe she will be in kindergarten in september.

they have a fancy cermony, they get their diploma's,

sing some songs and then have a treat. 

mal was behaved so well and sang her little heart out!

we got her roses to celebrate and went for ice cream.

i hope she left loved because we love our little mallory TONS!
she is funny, smart, adorable, sweet and so thoughtful!

she can not wait to go to kindergarten!

presents for ms. jenny and ms. sarah

mallory and i made a bag for each of them and gave them the framed subway art.

mallory loved making the bags, she drew a picture of eating snack at school.

slip n slide

we got a slip and slide today

and it was the perfect day to try it out.

the kids had a blast.

it was awesome because they didn't really know what to do.

liv finally got the hang of it and helped mal and kale!

yay for nice hot days!

torta's

anyone who knows brett, knows he LOVES mexican food.

he could eat it every meal.

several years ago he went to mexico and had a torta.

he was a changed man!

he made up his own recipe for torta and

we had them tonight.

SO YUMMY!

fire

we hung out at the langstons tonight.

the men made a fire and the kids played and played.

the kids found a newt or something in the sprinkler system.

the kids wanted to see it and love it.

it knew that and ran away asap!  haha.

it was a perfect night, no mosquitoes!

we know this wont last long so we are enjoying it while we can.

backyard critters

we are still having just amazing weather so the kids are outside as much as possible.

they keep finding these little friends in the backyard.

i use to play with them all the time as a kid too,

but for some reason now, i think they are SO creepy.

apparently kale doesn't!  no yet, atleast!

love these kids!!

food

we got a treat today at walmart.

sprinkles make me happy. 

i never eat a doughnut without them. 

the kids totally agree with me!

first soccer game!

first soccer game tonight!!

im not going to lie, they got killed.

BUT, they had a great time and learned alot.

no one on their team has played before so

this is a learning year!

all the kids really care about is the snack at the end anyway!  lol.

microwave smores

we had smores at a friends several days ok

so naturally kale asks if we can have smores everyday, multiple times.

i decided to give in today with some microwave smores!

he was pleased!

field trip

liv went on a fieldtrip to the childrens museum today.

she had a great time and even got her face painted. 

kindergarten is almost over!
