trampoline pictures

thought i would take some cool jumping pictures of the kids.

i found some bubbles at walmart today.

we took them outside and went to town!

why are bubbles so fun?

i don't know, but they are!

young photographers

mallory and kale wanted to take some pictures today.

so i let them!

heart of worship

mallory had her "heart of worship" tonight. 

the preschool kids get to sing all the songs they have learned

through the year.

she really sang this year! 

it was adorable!

recovery

olivia got several letters of well wishes for her quick recovery.

so nice for people to remember her!

friends also dropped by a huge princess sticker book.

liv finally felt well enough to get it out today.

olivia has been sleeping up stairs and i actually slept on the floor in her

room the first several night after the surgery.

she had a pot and a wooden spoon and anytime she needed

something she would bang on the pot.

well, i didn't know how dangerous giving her the pot and spoon

would be!  haha!  i was in there any 5 minutes!

tonsils be GONE

we had to be at the hospital at 7 AM. 

it is a 30 min drive so i had to wake liv up early.

she was all smiles and watched tv most of the time up to the surgery.

the nurses and doctors were fabulous.

coming to explain things and make olivia feel at ease.

Olivia had to choice to have me come to into the OR with her

while she went to sleep or go alone.

she chose for me to go back with her, of course!!

i was there when the put her to sleep.

she was so beautiful and little and helpless.

needless to say, she went to sleepytime

and i cried like a baby!

i didn't lose it until she was under.  the nice nurse rubbed my back

telling me they would take good.

the surgery only took about 30 mins.

dr froymovich came to tell me she did great, but that

her tonsils were "huge and nasty". 

he had to scrape the left tonsil out of her throat quite a bit

and said she would probably be very sore on that side.

her tonsil was growing up into her head?

weird.

im SO glad we got those nasty things out!

she didn't feel so well so they gave her some drugs and she went to sleep.

when she woke up, all she wanted to do was leave!

we packed up as quick as possible and got out of there!

the rest of the day didn't go as planned at all!

she was sick, throwing up all medicine

 i tried to give her for the rest of the day and night!

it was terrible, for her and ME!

worried

liv is getting her tonsils out tomorrow.

we have been talking to her about what to expect

and of course mallory has over heard.

mal and me went to the store today and mallory

got some bracelets for each of them to wear while liv was at the hospital.

they are best friend sisters and mallory is worried about her best friend!

made me so happy to see them being so good to eachother!

lion lunch

made a lion hat for kale today.

it is so cute i had to take a picture! 

he had it on most of the day,

even during lunch!

new do

we put lots of little braids in livs wet hair tonight.

hopefully she will wake up with cute krinkle hair!

i have to document when she lets me do her hair because

she is already wary of my style!

painting

we did some painting outside today.

the kids painted rocks, a big sign and their hands.

i painted some frames and things.

i have had this paint for years and finally used it!! 

yay me!
