welcome fall!

we went out to play in the leaves today.  the kids had a blast.

all 3 kids did NOT want to have the leaves touch them. 

that's why the kids look so funny in the laying down picture.

it was really funny!

in the end kale came after all of us with leaves.

tooth

olivia lost another tooth today. 

not really that big of news since she has lost so many!

but, how she got this one out is AWESOME!!

this tooth had just be hanging out, literally, for quite awhile and i am a wimp with teeth.

there was no way i was going to pull that thing out!

so, i did the adult thing.  tied floss around the tooth and let mallory slam the door.

(while i plugged my ears, closed my eyes and sang to myself!  yes, really!!)

we should have seen mallory's face!  she was so excited to slam the door and get the tooth out!

the tooth came flying out and it took several minutes for us to find it!

i think this tooth experience will be one of our best ever!

MORE SNOW!

these kids love snow. 

it was snowing so lightly you can't even see the flakes,

but these kids were SUPER excited!

they are dying for enough to snow actual go out and play!

maybe sometime this year we will get some to stick on the ground.

not that i'm complaining!

my little helper

I was changing some lightbulbs and needed the ladder.

kale was so excited!

he helped hold the ladder for me and was fearless going all the way to the top.

trick or treating group

we went trick or treating on halloween.

the kids had TONS of fun!

langstons invited us to trick or treat in their neighborhood and we got tons of candy!!

funny story...

we were at the last house for trick or treating.  we all went up to the door and there was a statue of a man sitting on a bench.  it had black pants and shirt, face covered with a black mask and had shoes on.  it looked just a little too real to me.  i went up to it and started talking to it. 

nothing.

i even said that i was going to kick the statue to see if he would move.

i didn't.  by then the woman came to the door to give the kids their candy.

the statue jumped up and scared THE CRAP out of me.

i seriously screamed bloody murder and scared all the kids!

then we all laughed like crazy! 

it was one of the funniest halloweens ever!!

i wanted to take some photos of the kids for halloween and i

saw this pretty tree at mal's preschool.

we went by after school one day and got some pretty good pics.

these kids are hilarous. 

they were all being little hams!! 

mallory's class party

mallory had a class halloween party. 

she was so excited to go dressed up.

she decided to be super girl for this party.

kale and i got to go at the end and hand out candy to all the kids.

kale didn't want to give the candy away, so he was pouting in this picture.

sure is cute, even when he is pouting.

livy's school party

we went to liv's class today for the halloween parade.

she has such a great teacher and fun classmates. 

she is loving kindergarten!! 

they got to walk around the school and show off their costumes. 

kale was very upset he didn't get to go in the parade!

we decided to keep the tradition of decorating halloween cookies this year.

i made alot of cookies and there was alot of decorating.

then we got the pumpkins out and carved away.

kale wanted a super hero, both olivia and mallory wanted scray faces.

all 3 kids actually got there hands in the pumpkins and got the guts out.

i was a proud momma!

trunk or treat

we went to a trunk or treat at the church.

there was a family dance and then the treating!

the kids had a blast.

the kids are using the old trick or treat bags that my mom made for me and my siblings as kids.

the kids got some cards from grandma jodeene and aunt diane with money inside!!

we went to the dollar store and spent their money.

they had the time of their life picking out what they wanted!

they got a toy, a book, a coloring book and some painting papers.

the blog shwin and shwin needed pattern testers for

a jacket she was making a pattern for!

i got chosen!!  i am so pleased with the results!!

mallory likes the jacket too!

OUTSIDE!!

we have been playing outside as much as we can lately!!

it has cooled off and we are having a beautiful FALL!

i was worried we might go from summer right to winter! 

i am also deep into the cutting, sanding for our wards craft day!!

i see her!

olivia goes to school ALL DAY now,

we miss her when she is gone, especially mal and kale.

here is what happens when she walks home from school.

i didn't realize when i had children how precious their love for eachother would be.

it makes me smile ear to ear and tear up every now and then to think

of these kids and how much they love eachother.

it makes me think of my sisters and brothers,

how much i love and adore each of them!

WOW!  it's so cool that my kids feel THAT for eachother!!
