reunion day 2

tons of other stuff happened today. 

 

the house was just gorgeous! 

sally give papa the cutest book.

the tickle monster book.

the kids LOVED it.

I think kale had papa read it to him about 100 times.

nana made Rebekah a quilt and it was amazing.

we all wanted to take it home!

 

amy and barry found this "fruit" somewhere on their trip to Minnesota.

they saved it and we cut it open at the cabin.

it was neat.  I think Jeremy ate some of it too.

Jeremy was re enacting sara and cams engagement picture with sara.

as you can tell sara was super excited about it. 

reunion day 2: the lake!

the first thing we did today was go to the lake!

it was beautiful and so cold! 

the kids didn't care and just got in.

joey and Rebekah gave the little kids rides on their paddle boards.

liv, mal and mady were so brave and went swimming all over the place!

 

liv loved the paddle board.

she was obsessed with it and convinced joey to let her try.

she got up and paddled around like a pro!

she is an adventurer.

solo road trip

my first solo road trip with all 4 kids. 

it was exciting.  we had to stop several times.

but we all made it in one piece with time to set up our rooms!

we can't wait to play!

 

brett is also on a solo road trip out to Utah!

he starts his new job on Monday!!! 

3 months old

our sweet baby is getting so big. 

I can't believe it's been 3 months!

 

the countdown is on!

we are so excited to go to the cabin!! 

liv made an awesome countdown for us.

we can't wait to see cousins and hang out at the lake!

tooth fairy for mal!

once this girl feels a tooth even slighty loose she is all over it.

that tooth is out of there within a couple of days! 

she wiggles the heck out of it and it's gone.

she did it again today!

I am making 12 bow ties for sara's wedding!

kale is model for me and you can tell his isn't too excited.

I found this recipe in the scout magazine.

brett decided to try it out for our new year's get together.

it was SO yummy!

my mother has a Christmas candle collection. 

when I was a child I remember helping her gently get them out of the

Christmas boxes.  these candles made the whole house smell of Christmas.

whenever I smell that particular smell, it reminds me of Christmas.

well, I was at goodwill today and I found this!

this funny looking green sled is exactly like the one my mom has

and the smell is Christmas!

we decorated the tree today.

brett did a great job on the lights and the kids put up the ornaments in about 2 mins! 

it's so fun the kids are old enough to hang the decorations.

it was kale's turn to put the star on and he was very excited.

I bought a groupon for our tree this year. 

it was awesome.

we went to a really cute tree farm, in the middle of no where,

and got a great tree.

the kids had a blast at the little gift shop, the playground and

warming up by the fire!
