preschool graduation!

olivia graduated form preschool!

she is on to kindergarten in the fall!

way to go olivia!

her preschool had a ceremony and she got to dress up

and we did her hair.

olivia just looked BEAUTIFUL

and all grown up!

we gave her flowers because of her great accomplishment!

to say she loved them tons would be an understatement!

to celebrate we went for icecream.

mom's weekend

brett went to chicago on business this weekend

so me and the kids got to hang out.

we went swimming, made pancakes and played outside.

oh, and of course olivia got sick with strep throat.

she misses her dad so much she gets sick almost

everytime he leaves.

put on sweet purple aprons and help their wives with dinner.

we were all in the van driving somewhere the other day.

mallory:  "mom?"

me: "what mal?"

mal:  "i know how to say please in horse.

bike day

the girls had bike day at school.

they got to ride around the lake behind the school.

SO MUCH FUN!

christmas in may

we got the girls scriptures for christmas.

along with the scriptures was a promise from me that i would

make them scripture bags right away.

well, right away is 5 months to me, i guess!

i just surprised them with their bags this morning and they loved them!

olivia's.  hence the "o".

mallory's.  therefore, the "m".

dad's day

brett got to go for dad's day this week!

they played all sorts of sports.

golfing, basketball, baseball.

they had a cool fish race thing.

they got to read books and coloring and have root beer floats!

the girls LOVED having daddy with them at school!

family walk

brett called on the way home from work tonight and said we should

go on a walk down by the mississippi river.

i always do exactly what he tells me, HAHA

so we were ready to go when he got home.

we had a great time.

we wore the kids out!

that is my new goal everyday.

to be outside and playing so much they will sleep in!

flowers!

for 5 years flowers have been showing up on mothers day!

my sweet father in law, earl sends them to me.

it brightens my mothers day every single year.

aren't they beautiful this year??

he know i love purple!

they follow us!

we have found bunnies at our new house too!

we have egress windows in the basement and one night, while i was on the computer

i heard REALLY weird noises coming from the window.

i did not want to go see what was making the noise.

i got a flash light and went to see what was making the noise.

it was 2 sweet little bunnies!

they were trapped in the window egress part and couldn't get out!

brett and i went out and rescued them.

we have seen them almost everyday since then!

mom's day

the girls preschool had a mom's day to celebrate

mothers day!

i got to go to school with the girls and see what they do at school.

we made cheerio and foot loop necklaces, played in a huge baking sheet full of flour,

then more flour in a big bin and measuring cups, then we played some games,

read some books and sang songs.

we got a special treat of ice cream sundaes!

it was so fun to spend some time with the girls!

they each made me a recipe holder.

it was a great mom's day!

happy mothers day to ME!

i have wanted a piano since i left my parents house in 1998!

finally my dreams have come true!

i found this amazing piano on craiglist for FREE!

brett called some friends and went and got it for me.

it is an unright grand piano and plays just wonderfully!

i almost cried when i played it for the first time!

it is so good to be able to play and have music in our home.

i can't wait to torture help my children and teach them how to play!
