grandmas visit!

grandma jodeene came to visit!

we had a great time.

we did all kinds of stuff.

i think she played every game and put together every puzzle we have

while she was here!

the kids LOVED it.

there was also lots of coloring and cuting and glueing and creating!

we went to see daddy's work.

at brett's work we saw this squirrel!

he was so awesome.

he could climb up the stone wall.

kale thought it was the coolest thing ever!

we also took grandma to the mall of america!

we had SO much fun.
we went on rides, went out to eat and

 saw some amazing lego creations.

olivia got her hair done by a crazy guy.

isn't she just beautiful!

olivia, mallory, grandma and I went on the log ride.

IT WAS HILARIOUS!

mallory was sitting with me in the very front and

we, especially mallory got SOAKED!

she was a great sport and took it like a champ.

the ride was so fun and quite scary!

of course, we made grandma jodeene a welcome sign!

we were so excited she was coming!

heart of worship

the preschool the girls go to is luthern and the kids

get to learn LOTS of cool songs.

the preschool has a singing night for the kids

to show us parents all the stuff they have learned.

it was VERY cute.

 mallory went first. 

 she looks super nervous.  i think she was, but she did a GREAT job

 and sang and sang!

liv was next with her classmates. 

she did a great job too!

our girls love to sing!

the songs were all very catchy and had great actions.

kale loved watching his sisters up there!

he can't wait to go to preschool.

too bad he has another year to wait!

to say they love them would be an understatement!

they are the best.

we get to see them everyday

 since olivia goes mon/wed/fri

and mallory goes tues/thurs!

and the kids played outside

TODAY!! 

general conference

we wanted the girls to watch conference with us these year. 

they should be able to do atleast one session, right?

so i found some cute general conference activity books online,

sugardoodle.net and got some candy.

i can't remember where i saw this on the web, but i put the candy in some little buckets,

put some words on the buckets and then when the girls heard

that word  (general conference, prayer, scriptures) they got to

get a candy from that jar.

it worked pretty good for most of the session!

old favorite

we are desperate to get outside these days so we went to the coon rapids damn today!

it was SO COLD!

it was pretty nice at our house where there are trees but out on the damn,

as kale would say, freezie cold.

we had a great time and got some exercise!

livy really wanted a picture of her with the water.

nana and papa again!

we got to see nana and papa again! 

they were already coming to minneapolis to go to jennies baptism

so we got to see them for another 2 weeks!!

horray!

we went to ehlerts house almost everyday to see them

and they did stay with us for the weekend.

we put papa right to work fixing stuff in our rental.

nana got some pay back and made me organize

my sewing/craft room.

daddy time

we are reading the book of mormon as a family

so for FHE this week we talked about nephi building a boat and travelling to the promised land.

brett thought it would be fun to draw and color a big mural, so we did.

brett did all the coloring and the kids colored!

bubbles

our new house has a jetted tub.

jets + bubble bath = tons of fun!!

we didn't know the jets would make the bubbles go crazy

so when brett went out of the bathroom to get PJ's for the kids

he came back to an almost overflowing bathtub!

birthday #2 for mallory

mallory had already found her big birthday present, the bike

and had her friend birthday party in indy,

but we had to have a family party on her REAL birthday!!

she opened a couple of presents then had to find one.

it was hiding downstairs!

i think all three kids are going to LOVE it!

we also had cake and sang happy birthday! 

mallory is growing, growing!

she loves to draw, color, cut and glue.

mallory and sister play barbies for hours!

she loves her new bike and to play outside.

she is loving her new school, new teachers and making new friends.

she is a daddy's girl and always wants to sit by dad and/or hold his hand.

she is very sweet to everyone and is always thinking about others.

mallory gets herself dressed everyday in super cool outfits.

she almost always has a messy cute face!

we love you mallory!
