randoms by sally

here are some of sally's random shots of the happenings while she was here!
the kids loved to go in her room and wake her up each morning!
we played in the snow since we got so much snow and ice while sally was here.

this may be my favorite picture of the girls EVER.
they are always playing "dress designer".
olivia needed a chair and any sister would do, i guess.

melts my heart

sister best friends.

sally took this picture!
thanks sal!

ice storm

we have had crazy ice storms the last couple of weeks.
we had a really bad one while sally was here and the sun room started leaking from the ceiling.
the landlord had to come and get all the ice off the roof.
we COULD NOT believe the ice that was on top of there!
it was about 6 inches thick!

this piece fell off the roof and stuck in the snow/ice.
the kids thought it was super cool.
                                                                                                                                               (so did i!!!)

we played in the sunroom in the puddle when it was leaking.
don't you love kales hat!

the museum has been fabulous for cold days,
or now that i think about it too hot days too!
we are sad we can't go anymore but are very glad to have been able to go so much
when we lived here!

happy birthday bubba!

kale is 2!!
we had a family party with the vails.
he got the sword as a present and wouldn't let go of it.
we sang, ate some cake and opened his presents.
he was so cute eating his cake.
kale didn't want to get messy.
(he did have a nasty double ear infection, boo)

fun

santa brought bubble bath and bath finger paints for christmas.
EVERYDAY olivia asked if she could use them.
me, being the mean mom i am, said no.
santa must not have know how sad mallory, aka casty, would have
been to not be able to take part.
so we waited and waited and waited.
right when we got back from getting mallorys cast off...
the kids were in the bath!

free at last!

be gone casty

it's FINALLY off!
thank goodness.

both mallory and me were very excited to get this nasty thing off!
the dr. said everything looks great and she healed perfectly!

a true sunbeam

mallory FINALLY made it to sunbeams this sunday!
she has been in nursey for 5 years now (ok, just seems like that).
we were both very excited because i am the primary choirister and
we got to see eachother.
see was very well behaved.
she ran over to me and gave me such a sweet hug
and told me she loved me!

definitely a sunbeam!
(she just ate some toast with nutella on it.  anyone how knows mallory,
knows she still gets a little messy when she eats!)
