swimming

the girls started swimming lessons today! 

i was nervous for mallory because she is scared of the bath!

she did great though!  her teacher said she wanted to do everything first and even jumped in the pool!

olivia did great.  i knew she would.

they are very excited to go back!

kale and i played at the park because parents aren't allowed in until the last 5 minutes.

power wheels

we went to some friends house after school last week and they had a power wheels!

i had never seen one before, neither had the girls.

olivia and mallory fell in LOVE.

olivia drove it around for almost the whole time we were there.

on the way home she cried because i told her we were NOT going to buy one.

well, then i remembered craiglist!

they had tons on there.  i emailed several people and they had sold them already or didn't reply.

BUT we decided to go to some garage sales and found 2!

a little ATV for mallory and a barbie jeep from olivia!

(don't think we are bad parents, the jeep is olivia's birthday present)

the girls are in heaven. 

kale will ride in the jeep with olivia for as long as she will drive.

it's adorable.

they have been out driving them every minute they can!

why didn't we get these sooner!

i let the girls dress themselves almost everyday. 

mallory chooses some really interesting outfits.

  brett fixed, sanded, painted and made doors for it!

I LOVE IT!

he did such a great time!

hardly even a walkway into the house!

i keep finding lots of projects for brett us to do!

what's been going on...

this is what the girls do every morning!  it's fabulous!

they LOVE going outside and swing and play together.

i love to look out there and see them, playing together being best friend sister.

olivia did all these puzzles one day when mallory was gone at school.

olivia begged me to take a picture of these barbies.

both the girls love barbies.

isn't she getting so big!

kale loves to push this stroller around ALL DAY! 

i think we may have to get him a boy one though!

the girls and i made oatmeal chocolate chip cookies. 

i made brett a heart cookie and then the girls wanted one too. 

they loved them!

no front teeth

livy lost her 2nd tooth on friday!

the tooth fairy came again and left her $1.

my futures so bright...

that i have to wear shades. 

the girls have sunglasses so i thought i would get kale a pair too.

he loves them and wears them all the time.

it's too funny!

kale loves to drive too. 

 he cries when we get him in the car and don't let him drive.

he wants the car cart at the grocery store and to drive the pretend steering wheel at the park

he is such a happy boy. 

we love having him in our home!

sleeping beauties

since the girls started school this week, this is how i have found them everyday!

they must be doing some exciting things at school!

kale is giving mallory a kiss!

kale is OBESSED with coloring right now. 

seriously OBESSED!!. 

he asks me to color about 20 times a day.  

he is still so young and hasn't figured out to not write on the walls. 

so i can't let him do it by himself...

amy had a great idea to put him in his seat, strap him in and let him color his heart out!

i thought it was a great idea and set him up right away!

this is what happened next.

 

step one:  color all over your arm.

step two: lick your arm using as much spit as possible.

step 3: rub it all over your face

step four: be the cutest boy there ever WAS!

olivia joy!

olivia started preschool today! 

she is very excited to be bulldog (the older class) but was alittle nervous

for a new teacher and new friends.

she did great and loved every minute of it!

the bulldogs go 3 times a week, monday, wednesday and friday.

olivia is very happy about more school and i think she would go everyday all day if she could!

she told me she made sure that no one got in trouble during school!

how cute is that.

kale did not want to be in the picture so he is missing.

olivia even let me do her hair a new way and kept it in!

i can't believe she is going to kindergarten next year!

how can she be THAT old?

we went to josh's house after school to play so no after school pictures!

olivia did color and cut a picture out for mallory.  awww!

josh and olivia were in the same class last year.  josh is the sweet

boy that has already asked brett if he could marry olivia. 

they aren't in the same class anymore so josh and olivia were lonely for

eachother and needed to play!

mally girl

today was mallory's first day of preschool. 

she was just a little excited.

mallory wanted to go to school with olivia all last year. 

she even got to stay a couple of times and she loved it.

i wasn't worried about mallory at all.  i didn't expect to be sad to leave her!

mallory got to choose her outfit and wanted to wear her 3 outfit.

she got to choose lunch which was tuna sandwiches, fruit and carrots with ranch.

one of mallory's friends from church is in the same class, maren.

they found eachother and started playing right away.

after taking some pictures and talking with the teachers and other parents,

mallory came up to me and asked if it was time for me to go yet!

mallory is ready to have some time to herself and be independent.

she had a great time, of course and was even chosen for the line leader.

she colored a picture for sister.  olivia was very tickled mallory would do something for her. 

i think they missed eachother.

they are best friend sisters!
